Melbourne Pitch In 2016
On the 19th of October, Bennelong Foundation held its third Melbourne and fifth Pitch In event at the penthouse event space at The Cluster. Over 80 attendees from the Bangarra Group community, as well as friends, family, colleagues and clients participated by nominating a portion of $50,000 granted on the evening to one of the pitching organisations.
The three inspiring organisations, Eat Up Australia, Fruit 2 Work and Good Cycles, all raised enough funds to launch their projects. Thank you to all who attended for helping to shape the funding and the impact of the Foundation in the community.
For the first time members of our UK community at Aurora Media Worldwide had the opportunity to join in. A filmed copy of the presentations were viewed by the staff at Aurora, who then had the opportunity to vote for one of the organisations to receive a $5k bonus grant. Congratulations to Eat Up Australia for receiving the most votes and the additional bonus grant!
