It is always inspiring to see members of the Bennelong Foundation and Bangarra Group community living and practicing the spirit of caring - even beyond their time working with us. Congratulations to Tara Bell, previously a senior member  of Bennelong Funds Management for officially launching a new not-for-profit Noosa Chances in November. Tara (pictured below in the white dress), inspired by the work of Western Chances in Melbourne, has established a sister organisation Noosa Chances,

giving  young people who live or study in the Noosa Shire the chance to fulfill their potential and overcome financial barriers to success. They will do this by providing scholarships through local schools and offering ongoing support. Scholarships of $1500 a year support talented and motivated students who may otherwise lose out on the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams.

Congratulations to Tara and the rest of the board and committee, including our deputy chair Carena Shankar for all the hard work and dedication to support young people to reach their potential.
